What’s been happening:

Since receiving my PhD from Penn State, I have continued to teach art and design foundations classes and serve as an advisor to the Fashion Design program at Philadelphia University. My son, Karl Vavrek, who is also a Penn State grad, and his also grad wife, Carolyn Juskelis Vavrek, have been busy working and living in the San Francisco Bay area. With two grad children out there now, I love to visit them. My husband, Jack W. Ready, Temple University MS in Economics, and I love to sail. We have our own little day sailer, but also love taking the bigger yachts out on the Chesapeake Bay with sailing friends. Love my studio, my garden and traveling. Cheers to all who remember our great days with Dr. B, Rip, Alice and the Wilsons-who cheered our cohort to completing our degrees in art education.
